Mint has been making somewhat of a comeback lately due to the resurgence of the 1940's and 1950's Vintage Trend but in 2013 it will be big! It will no longer be an accent shade resigned to supporting roles but will take centre stage as a colour in it's own right with everything from dresses to cocktails incorporating the colour.

What could make it a sure fire succcess more than being worn as a colour choice by fashion conscious Royals. The Duchess of Cambridge has been seen wearing mint on many occasions most notably the gorgeous vintage empire waist evening gown by Amanda Wakeley. So ladies there is no doubt about it we are in good company wearing a colour elevated to the status of Royal Mint.
Mint is cool, clever and very versatile and can be matched with a plethora of shades such as lemon, lavender and pink which evoke a gently awakening crisp springtime feeling yet even summer or winter weddings can be infused with this adorably effervescent colour.
As a suggestion why not use vibrant exotic corals and sky blues to complement the summer skies and in the colder seasons shimmering silvers and crisp snowflake white to give that wonderland feeling.
Mint is a classic, timeless shade that is everlastingly pretty and delightfully delicate and here at Vintage Rose we simply can't wait to design and create bespoke wedding stationery for all of our special 2013 brides.
